Chef Barbara Markowitz has been delighting people in the New Jersey and New York area for over 30 years with her culinary expertise. This journey began at home in the kitchen with her Italian mother and grandparents as well as with her German father; son of a private chef. She has fond memories of spending her weekends prepping and preparing her family’s Sunday sauce, a tradition she still carries out today with her 7 children.
Chef Barbara was classically trained in Paris, France and has also completed advanced culinary studies in Germany and in the United States. She has earned accolades such as, Most Raved about Caterer in the New Jersey Magazine and has also been featured in New Jersey Bride and Entrée Magazine. She has also served as a guest chef at the Food Network Wine and Food Festival in NYC.
Chef Barbara’s creativity and passion for food along with her desire to please her clients has allowed her catering and events business to thrive for many years.
